My goodness I hadn't thought of Marge Schott in ages. She and Donald Sterling kind of share the MVP (Most Vile Person) award in my book.

They're so bad they almost make you think you can put up with Robert Sarver or Michael Bidwill if the teams win occasionally.
I'd say each major league has a handful of bad owners, and some add "terrible human being" to that. I'm not sure if the Cardinals organizational issues make Bidwill both or if he's just cheap and incompetent.
These are the two I voted for. Schott might have had a World Series winner, but she was a horrible person. Sterling wasn't any better.

Bidwill is @ss but living in Maryland, I had a front row seat to Dan Snyder’s poo palace. He made hating the redskins easy and rewarding. No matter how much he’d spend every year, failure was inevitable. It was pure bliss.

I remember hearing a story told by former Clippers players that they would often stay at different hotels when they would visit cities because Sterling would refuse to pay hotel bills.
Of course there was also his racist rant that was recorded by his mistress. He lucked into a few winning teams but he would always sabotage the team because he would refuse to pay.
