I forgot what the ex-Steeler quota is. Three per year?

As long as we didn't commit a ton of cash this is great. The tread looked pretty much worn off the tire with him last year, but if BASK think they can get something out of him for 1 season that's good enough. They earned the benefit of the doubt.

Speaking of Steeler LB's, I haven't heard anything about Worilds. Have I missed something?

No. The cardinals have been linked heavily to Orakpo but not at all to Worilds

This is a one year deal probably with little guaranteed money. I'm not saying we should look at this like its a great signing or anything but theres no risk. My guess is Woodley was brought in with the chance to be a situational pass rusher.

I would say "heavily" is an overstatement....

Let's try to be slightly more positive. You're not wrong but hopefully they have a role in mind for him where he is productive. Looked pretty close to finished last season but what the hell. They've earned a little faith in the front office.

Perhaps but the reports I posted from Rapoport and John Keim on page 13 of the free agent thread makes me think they are definitely trying to get him.

Nice buy low option. Can cut him in camp if it doesn't work out. They need multiple OLBs.

abraham was done when he signed and that first year went pretty well.

Abraham had 10 sacks for the Falcons the year before the Cardinals signed him.

Underrated reason this is a good signing: Because he was released, he won't count against potential compensatory selections.

He was only active for 6 games with Oakland last year? Yikes.
