Destiny Howell, who spent her senior season with the Wisconsin Badgers, has officially declared for the WNBA draft.

The WNBA continues to reach new heights when it comes to contracts for its players, so Howell has a chance to really take her career to the next level.

The four-year Howard player came to Madison for the 2025-26 season, where she averaged 14.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. For what it's worth, her career-high in points (16.8) came in 2022-23 with both her career-high in rebounds (4.3) and assists (2.6) coming last season.

"I'm excited to announce that I will be declaring for the 2026 WNBA draft. Ever since I was 9 years old, it's been my dream to play professional basketball. I'm finally stepping into that moment, trusting wherever god takes me. Ready to work," Howell wrote.

She continued, "I appreciate everyone who's been part of the journey and supported me along the way."

Howell was part of the Badgers' miraculous WBIT run, where they snapped a 10-game losing streak and made it all the way to the semifinals.

Officially, her collegiate career comes to an end with 1,924 points with a 38% field goal percentage. Of the 1,810 field goals she attempted, 900 of those came from three-point range. Howell shot 33.8% from distance during her five-year career.
