Not only is the Wisconsin Badgers women's basketball team going to be without Destiny Howell entering next season, but the program has now learned that Kyrah Daniels is no longer on the team.
On3's Talia Goodman broke the news on April 14 that the Badgers second leading scorer would be entering the transfer portal.
Daniels joined Howell as the team's only double-digit scorer in the 2025-26 season. She scored 10+ in three of their four WBIT games, as her junior season came to an end with a 12.4 points per game average.
The former Missouri State guard will once again enter the portal heading into her senior season. With one year of eligibility remaining, Daniels will look to join her third team in as many years.
Daniels is the fourth Badger to enter the portal. She joins fellow junior Breauna Ware, along with sophomores Jovana Spasovski and Alie Bisballe.
First-year head coach Robin Pingeton built a foundation with a deep WBIT run after the team ended the year on a 10-game losing streak, but now she has quite the rebuild ahead of her.
