Former Ohio State football players are getting wind of the recruiting battle for five-star running back prospect David Gabriel Georges.
Responding to a post from Rivals on Gabriel Georges' final three potential college football teams, former Ohio State quarterback Will Howard showed his support for Ohio State with a comment.
"BUCKEYE," Howard wrote in the comments of the Instagram post with an eyeball emoji.
The last five-star running back recruited to the Buckeyes was TreVeyon Henderson, who played with Howard on the 2024-25 national championship-winning team.
Gabriel Georges is the No. 2 running back in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports. The No. 1 running back in the class, Keamon Spell, has committed to Georgia. Ohio State, Ole Miss and Tennessee are the three schools Gabriel Georges will pick from during his commitment livestream on July 22.
A Chattanooga resident, Gabriel Georges rushed for 1,756 yards and 27 touchdowns with the Baylor School last fall.
