You never know what a Bidwill might do, but there will be lot of posters on this board who are going to be pissed when JG is back next year. As he should be. With all the injuries, there is no way that JG can be rightly judged. I’d be fine if Petzing is sent packing, but I’m not even sure that will happen. The OL & DL coaches will be gone. Maybe a few others. But, MOJG will be given another year. Count on it.
Guess that means we’re in for more of the 15-34 kind of sustained success.

Whoooohoooo!!!!

Well. Keim developed an alcohol problem so it’s hardly relatable
Its a different, and extremely relative data point, sure. Another example of the myriad things that can go wrong to derail a career. Its also been established that he ALWAYS had said problem, one that showed up while still in college. Im pretty damn good at my job, and I drink too much, so don't rely too heavy on that either.

Here's hoping I don't crash and burn.

In 2023, he was considered one of the finalists and he turned down a second interview because he had a "gut feeling".
I remembered that there was something strange with that process, and that the Cardinals sort of stalled it, so I looked it up. And yes, From Flores had his first interview, until he was called for a second, there was a month between. That is very unusual, and I guess Flores simply felt that the interest was not genius. Obviously it was because they waited for Gannon.

I don’t know if Flores would stay away because of it, but at least keep in mind that he and Ossenfort know each other through several years in New England.

I see you're sticking to your ridiculous "Remain calm, all is well!" shtick. Care to revise your attitude of attacking anyone and everyone who dares question anything this regime does? Because that shtick has aged like rotten fungus left out in the desert.

And whose opinion is being attacked here?? Only mine, and by you. Bidwill will do what Bidwill will do. Has nothing to do with your opinion or mine. But, based on the 60+ years of prior Bidwill decisions made, it’s generally the wrong decision.

Maybe, but the injuries didn’t stop, they only kept multiplying. And anyone that’s ever coached before knows that “next man up” is a tired cliche. Because injuries DO matter & when you set NFL single season injury related records, they sure as hell do matter. MOJG were brought in to make dramatic changes that the Bidwill family had never attempted in the 62 years I’ve been watching. And they were on pace to accomplish those goals until the onslaught of injuries kicked in. To start all over now would be a typical Bidwill move, and by now, the Bidwill’s are wrong about 90% of the time. Just an opinion from someone who’s been around to see it from the beginning of the Bidwill era.

Bah. The players who are out there are playing like crap. Period. The level of play is on Gannon and the level of talent is on Monti.

It unfortunate that they keep score in NFL games but you can’t credibly say you want to compete and also allow your front office to go 15-34 no matter what happens.

Injuries happen to every team; most of our starters are still healthy (look it up).

For a guy who has stated he wants to see a Super Bowl before he dies, you make a lot of excuses and tolerate a lot of sub par products.

Hiring Mike McCarthy is just telling me to no watch this team for the next 3-4 years.
Just curious what would get you to watch this team for the next 3-4 years? What’s kept you watching them these last few years?

If John Harbaugh or Mike Tomlin became available most would be happy to sign them. Hell most of us were hoping beyond hope for Sean Payton. McCarthy has a similar record to all three and as many super bowls.

He would never come here anyway but for folks on this board to put their nose in the air at having a coach that’s top 15 in all time wins come to this team is a little silly.

This team would be lucky to get a top 3 candidate in any cycle. We always end up with the 6/7/8th guy on the list. Some of the better options won’t even take an interview here.

If you don’t see the difference between Mike McCarthy and Tomlin and Harbaugh there’s nothing I can do to prove it to you.

McCarthy definitely would come here. In a second.

That’s your typical answer dude. I don’t expect any real conversation from you. And honestly I could give two shuts about the difference, I want results and their results are damn near the same. So keep down voting everybody and complaining without bringing value. All good, king.

It is interesting though, a few posts ago you didn’t have enough info to have an input yet you always do lol. Typically when I don’t have enough info on a subject I just shut the hell up.
