With the 2025-26 high school sports season all finished, the El Paso Times will give readers a chance to vote to identify El Paso's top athletes and teams.

This week, readers can vote for which El Paso Times' El Paso Children's Hospital high school coach had the best performance in the 2025-26 school year.

Here are this week's nominees:

• Carlos Armendariz, Bel Air wrestling. He helped guide the girls team to a third-place finish at state tourney in Class 5A.
• Troy Douglas, Eastwood wrestling. He helped guide the girls team to a state title in Class 6A .
• Jesse Munoz, Americas baseball. He guided the Trailblazers to the regional finals in Class 5A, Division 1.
• Jair Olivares, Americas boys soccer. He guided the Trailblazers to the Final four in Class 5A, Division 1.
• Daniel Murillo, Burges boys soccer.He guided the Mustangs to the Final Four in Class 5A, Division 2.
• Chris Taylor, Andress football. He guided the Eagles to a win vs, Wichita Falls Memorial in the Class 5A, Division 2 playoffs. It was the first win for an El Paso team over a Wichita Falls ISD team in the playoffs.
• Frank Martinez, El Dorado football. He guided the Aztecs to 10 wins and a playoff win vs. Amarillo High.
• Teisha King, Americas girls basketball. King helped lead the Trailblazers to a District 2-5A title and two wins in the playoffs.
• Kristyn Flanagan, Montwood girls basketball. Flanagan helped the team to a District 1-6A title and a bidistrict playoff win.
• Stephanie Sazo, Del Valle soccer. Sazo helped Del Valle to another strong season with a District 2-5A title.
• Roel DeAnda, Eastlake volleyball. DeAnda guided the Falcons to the District 1-6A title and twin wins in the playoffs.
• Mario Gomez, Chapin track & Field. The Chapin girls team finished third at the Region 1-5A meet and had several state qualifiers.
