No Andy Luck. Who inherits that huge paycheck. I wouldn't want it if I am an NFL GM/PPD.

A DT as the overall #1 when there are at least 6 1st round DTS? Someone may overpay and it looks like Carolina. Maybe they will pass.

This post must be expected to turn into a beat down argument......

Will the mods please move this to the Cardinals board.

If the conversation turns to Cam Newton, and blanket comparisons to other black QB's regardless of playstyle, perhaps it should stay in the P&R.

I'd say Fairley goes #1 overall. He's just head-and-shoulders above anyone else compared to the rest of their respective fields...at least pre-combine.

Would any team actually want to trade up to #1. This may end up like the Jimmy Johnson #1 pick, when he negotiated a reduced salary and took Russell Maryland overall #1 in 1991.

Should be Fairley, Panthers biggest needs are QB and interior DL, with Luck gone Fairley has to be their guy. Especially after seeing Suh dominate the league for Detroit.

I went with AJ Green. He fills a need for them and is very talented. I can see them blowing the whole thing up and letting Steve Smith go and re-start with a WR corp of Green and LaFell being the main guys.
