Another high school girls lacrosse season has come and gone in the Greater Taunton area.

This spring, Bristol-Plymouth (15-4, 11-2 Mayflower Athletic Conference) led the way locally, falling just short of a league title and reaching the MIAA Division 3 preliminary round before falling to St. John Paul II. Bridgewater-Raynham (13-6, 1-3 Pioneer Athletic Conference) lost a program legend to graduation, but brought in a high-octane freshman class to keep up momentum, reaching the Div. 1 Round of 32 before falling to North Andover. Dighton-Rehoboth (11-7, 9-4 South Coast Conference) also saw others step up after graduating its all-time leading scorer, scoring its first-ever win over SCC powerhouse Apponequet and reaching the D3 Round of 32.

Taunton (5-12, 2-10 Hockomock League), with its largest program player-wise to date, scored season sweeps of both Stoughton and Norton to improved its win total for a second straight season while Bristol Aggie (4-14, 3-9 MAC) also improved its win total for a second straight season.
