PITTSBURGH — Nine slots after drafting quarterback Drew Allar, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected Daylen Everette, a cornerback from the University of Georgia.
Everette was the draft's 85th overall selection and Pittsburgh's third pick of April 24. He'll join a defensive secondary which includes Joey Porter, Jr., the Steelers' second pick in 2023.

Everette played 55 games in four seasons at Georgia. A native of Norfolk, Virginia, he attended high school at Florida's famed IMG Academy before joining the Bulldogs.
Everette ran the 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds at the NFL Draft combine. He stands 6'1 and weighs 196 pounds.
Everette's 10 pass breakups led Georgia in 2025, as did his three interceptions in 2024. He twice garnered third team All-SEC honors.
