Another day of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ rookie minicamp, another of the team’s 2026 draft picks has signed their first NFL contract.

After signing three draft picks the day prior, the Steelers announced on Saturday that 2026 third-round cornerback Daylen Everette had signed his rookie deal.

Everette, who was selected by the Steelers with the 85th overall pick in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, played for the Georgia Bulldogs from 2022 to 2025, recording five interceptions, 17 passes defended, and 149 combined tackles.

At 6-foot-1, Everette possesses a rare blend of size and 4.38 speed, in addition to a physical style of play that’s frequently seen on film.
