FWIW he has 350 NFL passing attempts. There probably isn’t any upside there, but there’s more likely to be upside than there Brissett and Minshew offer.I hope no one thinks I am advocating for getting Richardson. Just showing the desperation that some people are displaying.
Richardson is horrendous.
But he wasn't the QB MLF wanted. He's the QB Monti gave him after failing to get ML's first 2 preferred targets in Willis and JG. Makes sense. Monti was 3rd choice, so why not get 3rd choice QB.What happened to everyone crying "If he's the QB MLF wants, we should back him?" If this is the QB he wants, shouldn't we back him?
How do we know that? But he wasn't the QB MLF wanted. He's the QB Monti gave him after failing to get ML's first 2 preferred targets in Willis and JG. Makes sense. Monti was 3rd choice, so why not get 3rd choice QB.
Great point. If Minshew and Brissett was indeed who he wanted then I have no problem giving it a chance. I just find it very, very hard to believe that this was his idea all along. How do we know that?
I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of the "If we drafted Simpson/signed Willis it's because that's the guy MLF wants and we shouldn't question that" argument that went around the board a while ago. I knew, as soon as it was a QB posters didn't want, they'd start with "He wasn't the QB MLF wanted." I get what you're saying; this was a reply to other posters, not you in general.
My man on 3rd choice GM’s strategy since before NYD.The starting QB next year is going to be Jacoby.
He's either a place holder for a rookie or starting and layin' for Sayin.
Hmmm, a twist nobody saw coming....tune in tomorrow, same card time, same card forumBro if this comes true the Cards truly have no idea what they are doing.

I’d rather have Cousins than Brissett, but in the big scheme of things, the end result would be about the same.Bro if this comes true the Cards truly have no idea what they are doing.

Im not saying they I wouldn’t rather have Cousins, Im just saying that this has been a terrible way of going about this offseason and this would be an amazing twist.I’d rather have Cousins than Brissett, but in the big scheme of things, the end result would be about the same.
Indy is paying him $44 million next year to probably only play the second half of the season and coming back from an Achilles tear.Screw it, let's take a run at Daniel Jones.
That’s why he’s being released my man. He restructured his contract in January.Cousins' cap hit for 2027 is $90M by the way.

I didn't catch that, thanks.That’s why he’s being released
I hope I'm wrong, but I've got this feeling that the Cards are gonna pull a shocker and pick Ty Simpson at #3. If we start hearing how much LaFleur likes the kid and people start talking about him going in the first half of round one...look out.
