A handful of fairy tales from the story bag...
OT: I can see what our ex-QB is doing now, setting up shop in Pittsburgh...as a jeweler!:

I don't understand what point you're trying to make? Are you arguing Willis is more attractive at around 18-25 million a year (which will likely be his market value), or a projected 2nd rd pick that will make around 1.8-2.5 million a year?Spoiler alert: One can be had just for money and the other would require a draft pick.
Yes. Do this! Do this now!xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
I'm not advocating for either, but the point is clear. You went on to state the point quite well, so you absolutely do understand it. One player can be had for money alone, which is relatively easy to do (if you can woo the player). The other requires draft capital, and not cheap draft capital, according to the board. Spending 18-25 mill is NOTHING compared to spending a 2nd round pick.I don't understand what point you're trying to make? Also, for everyone who likes Malik Willis but dislikes Trinidad Chambliss...Spoiler alert, they are the same height.
Imho its between Simpson or Nussmeir wont be surprised or disappointed with either at the same time doubt we get either of themPersonally, I think you will see the Cardinals look at Simpson or Nussmeier or Altmyer in the draft so the future argument is out the window. I do believe the "plan" is to add a QB who can execute the offense right away and at a high level.
To be clear(I assumed you were joking) I am speaking of Zac Wilson lolRUSSELL WILSON??? He is Kyler Murray but 20 years older. God no.
ahh. I forgot all about Zack. Same thoughts on him too. Yuk!To be clear(I assumed you were joking) I am speaking of Zac Wilson lol
Willis is a free agent.Spoiler alert: One can be had just for money and the other would require a draft pick.
Wonder if the packer offensive tackle that got arrested recently will be a no for Monti now?We have been adding draft picks and it really hasn’t been working out.
I say go big or go home.
Free agency is the key. We must sign the best right tackle in free agency. In addition we have to sign a solid rb and there are a lot of them available.
With the #3 pick you take a game changer. Bailey is the guy. Pair him up with Sweat and we can reek havoc on Qb’s.
Now here’s the key. Unless Simpson totally lights it up at the combine or Mendoza falls to us which won’t happen, we can’t pass on a blue chip like Bailey. That means we have to get bold and move back up in the first round to get Simpson.
Yes Monti, we’ll have to give up some draft picks to get Simpson IF IF IF he is our guy. Otherwise we use our second pick for (fill in the name) qb.
No, I really didn't know what point you we're making. I was simply pointing out that Chambliss has taken a lot of heat for being small at 6'1, but I haven't seen anyone push back on Malik Willis' height.I'm not advocating for either, but the point is clear. Has it be confirmed yet if Chambliss will enter the draft? No, I really didn't know what point you we're making. I was simply pointing out that Chambliss has taken a lot of heat for being small at 6'1, but I haven't seen anyone push back on Malik Willis' height.
I think the best way to build an elite team is to leverage the window of a rookie QB that is being paid "pennies" and surrounding him with premier talent on both sides of the ball. SF was able to do this for a few years with Purdy, both teams in the AFC Championship game this year benefited from being in this position. Given MB's reputation for being cheap, I think this is the route they would prefer as well.
He has a court date on Feb 12th...Hopefully more info after that. I'm curious about why he wouldn't want to declare this year. Next years class will be way more crowded.Has it be confirmed yet if Chambliss will enter the draft?

Yea I don't understand that about him strike while the iron is hot. Unless he really is not thinking about NFL being a real thing for him. From his story you can understand he probably never thought NFL would be an option. He has a court date on Feb 12th...Hopefully more info after that. ...which is why I said he can be had for just money. Try to keep up, eh?Willis is a free agent.
What you're trying to say is you prefer Chambliss to Willis. I'll just say that for you. The money/cap space nonsense is just that: nonsense. You can bring in Willis (if you want) and kajigger it so the cap hit is small this season, and then do all the things you wanted to do for Chambliss. And you can do it without giving up a 2nd round pick. No, I really didn't know what point you we're making. Dude is cooked and would be massacred in his first game here. Thankfully, he'd never come here anyway, so it's a moot point. The Hackett connection has to open up the possibility of Rodgers.
Cause he will make a lot more money at ole miss this year instead of being pick 34He has a court date on Feb 12th...Hopefully more info after that. I'm curious about why he wouldn't want to declare this year. Next years class will be way more crowded.
