Stop it Shane. Nidan was proving to thephoenixson28 that he had "zero knowledge of what happened".

All he proved is that he had zero knowledge too ;)

Boldin left because he was traded
His TD last night was awesome. Something tells me Boldin wouldn't complain if the QB threw the ball to hard. Hits you in the hands, you catch it.

Please give us a break with this, you have zero knowledge of what happened so don't pretend you do

Boldin left because he was pissed not because of pay. He got pissed because his agrent tried to game the Cardinals, ie they gave Q a new contract which he loved, then Drew [Spawn of the devil] R got him to bitch about it to get another one. In order to make himself feel righteous he blamed the Cardinals.

Dansby left but iirc we offered him a good deal as well
What was boldin complaining about(A new contract meaning the bidwills didn't want to pay him). Dansby left why?(you said it for a better contract, meaning the bidwills didn't want to match it.) The Anderson deal. Whiz wanted bulger but rod graves didn't want to cuz they didn't want to waste the money on bulger cuz they already signed Anderson.(Read a article about it, also falls on the bidwills.)I have no football knowledge. I guess not, but just stating the facts.

I'm not calling for Whiz to be fired--I don't see a lot of people on here who are--but the honeymoon period for Coach is DEFINITELY over. Changes need to be made.

Whether Whis was given too much power too soon by the front office is a discussion we can have, but he created this mess for himself; I don't think that Graves came up to Whis and said, "I have this crazy idea--let's cut our former Top 10 QB at the end of training camp. Also, don't you think Joey Porter has a lot left in the tank?"

I am in complete agreement with you K-9. Given the fact that he had such success his first three years here, it is even hard to say that he was given too much power too soon. It is his mess though, and while a lot of people on the board seem to be, (at least), confused by his 'stay the course' mentality, I am not surprised in the least. In fact, I would almost bet that Whiz is actually the most confused of all of us. It must be driving him crazy that he is doing all the right things, (at least in his mind), to fix this problem, but it still eludes him.

Long ago I said that he has the perfect mind for an engineer, (calm, cool, calculating, unemotional, searching for tangibles to fix this problem). It must be tearing him apart that he has not found success by plugging in pieces to cure the situation. After all, he has brought in the people with the absolute most experience in operating 'his system'. People who are proven over time, and who are loyal to him. People who can be relied upon to line up in the right place at the right time. Not some rookie who he can't trust to do that, and whom he was forced to bench, (even though that rookie might have had 10 tackles in that game, and a sack, and a couple of hurries).

As I said previously, I have been where these players are. Different team, different game, but exactly the same type leadership, and the exact same concept. That leader too, ruined what had been nearly perfectly put together for him by his predecessor. That team, under its prior leader had been proven successful by 85% of the people that it served, (by their response to a newspaper survey). Yet within 5 years this new leader, (who displayed the same personality characteristics as Whiz), had undone nearly all the good work of his predecessor. In the process, he had created a huge morale problem on his team, and had so depleted its leadership, that it has taken more than 25 years to correct the problems he, (singlehandedly), created. Yet, like Whiz), that leader had surrounded hmself with leaders he trusted, and who he believed were loyal to him, (because, when he asked them, they told him so). Moreover, (also like Whiz), he was clueless to find a way to create an actual fix to the problem he created, because he refused to believe that he had actually created a problem to begin with.

I cannot see Whiz doing any differently than what he has done so far. He will continue to erode the very soul of this team, by his failure to acknowlege that HE has created what is destroying it. I sincerely believe, that by the time he leaves, he will have done more to disrupt this team, than Buddy Ryan did when he took over after Joe Bugel was forced out by Mr. 'B' because he failed to produce a winner, (only having gone 8-8 that year).

Yes, Whiz has an open door policy with his players, and he will sit with them and listen to them, BUT he will not hear them. Instead, he will suspect that each of them who have something to say to him that is contrary to his beliefs, is trying to undermine his efforts to fix what is wrong. He will keep his faith in the hard core of loyal leaders that were selected initially, despite the fact that they will doom him to ultimate failure. That is why he continues to start DA, Robinson, Porter, Lenon, Faneca, Hayes, Wilson, Et/al. To him, they are the loyal, proven leaders, chosen by him and his trusted cohorts, and THEY give him the best chance to succeed.

DING! DING! DING! :notworthy:

Catfish, You have hit the nail on the head. This is a slam dunk! It is exactly why Whiz will never be a good head coach. Whiz does not see that he is the problem and needs to change. :bang:

I understand where catfish is coming from. But if it ain't broke why fix it. Whiz took us to 2 NFC west titles and a superbowl. I just think Arizona fans were so spoiled after the success, that since we are having a losing season we blame it on the head coach. Just remember who it was to decide to start Warner over leinart. I'm just saying, I know it falls on the head coach, but give him at least a couple years to decide to make a head coaching change.

wiz did not make that decision...Leinart got hurt and Kurt put points on the board........anyone with a memory has to remember wiz yelling his head off at warner for changing plays at the line....every play.....but warner scored points, the team won, and the fans loved it.....so wiz just went along for the ride.

I don't necessarily want a new coach, but I definitely want an Offensive Coordinator.

Does he finish the year as coach or get by off the excuse that we've got a qb in a new system and blah blah blah?

oh, not only the new QB, but we had a lockout that no one other team had to deal with! afterall, that was the rallying cry on why we sat on 30 million bones last year. why not trot it out one more time!
