Wisconsin basketball added an important tally to the win column on Sunday, defeating Ohio State 92-82.
John Blackwell and Nick Boyd again led the Badgers' efforts. Blackwell finished with 22 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals on 8-of-13 shooting, while Boyd finished with 21 points, one rebound and two assists. Importantly, the two were a combined 13-of-13 from the free-throw line. Forward Austin Rapp was the other notable standout from the 10-point victory. In 20 minutes off the bench, the Portland transfer notched 19 points and six rebounds, while shooting 7-of-10 from the field and 5-of-7 from 3.
The Badgers improve to 16-6 (8-3 Big Ten) with the triumph. They still sit just two games back of Michigan for first place in the Big Ten standings.
