The festivities will all take place in Toronto, Canada's biggest city and a beacon of culture for the host nation. Shortly after the celebratory event, Canada will take on Bosnia and Herzegovina in the team's first match.

Here's how to watch the opening ceremony in Canada:

The Canada opening ceremony will be broadcast nationally on TSN channels and CTV with streaming options available on its dedicated platforms, or via Amazon Prime.
The pre-game show is expected to feature the opening ceremony which is due to start 90 minutes before the 3 p.m. ET kickoff.
