In USA Today's final bracketology, Alabama was listed as the No. 7 overall seed, which would secure a super regional. The Crimson Tide would host 2-seed Miami, who eliminated Alabama in last year's tournament, 3-seed East Carolina and 4-seed Alabama State.
The Crimson Tide is also the No. 7 overall seed in the eyes of D1Baseball. In this projection, Alabama would host 2-seed Jacksonville State, 3-seed UCF and 4-seed Long Island. Arizona State was the anticipated 3-seed on May 21 before West Virginia knocked the Sun Devils out of the Big 12 Tournament in semifinals.
Baseball America also tabs the Crimson Tide as the No. 7 overall seed, but has ASU coming to Tuscaloosa as the 2-seed. The regional would also feature 3-seed Virginia Tech and 4-seed Lipscomb.
