Alabama baseball was the No. 4 seed of the SEC Tournament, and it appeared that the Crimson Tide would be highly favored on the road to Omaha.

Then, No. 5 seed Florida run-ruled Alabama 13-3 in eight innings in conference tournament quarterfinals on Thursday, May 21.

With less than a week to the selection show, here’s a look at what bracketologists foresaw for the Crimson Tide in their latest updates.

D1Baseball's mock regional, posted on Thursday, May 21, had Alabama (37-19) hosting No. 28 overall Jacksonville State, No. 3 seed Arizona State and No. 4 seed Long Island. There was no change from the site's May 18 bracketology.

Baseball America's latest projection for the Crimson Tide is a Tuscaloosa regional featuring No. 27 overall Coastal Carolina, 3-seed Miami (OH) and 4-seed Yale.

As of Tuesday, May 19, USA Today anticipated that Alabama's regional group to include 2-seed Wake Forest, 3-seed TCU and 4-seed SIU-Edwardsville.
