The 2026 NBA Draft is nearly here so the speculation as to who the Philadelphia 76ers might take in the first round is almost over.
After coming back from a 3-1 deficit to upset the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs, the Sixers' season ended with a thud when Philly was swept in the second round by the eventual NBA-champion New York Knicks.
Now the time comes to find out what new 76ers president of basketball operations Mike Gansey will do during his first draft with the Sixers — fill needs around veterans Joel Embiid and Paul George or look toward the future and find another running mate for young guards Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe.
Here are all the 2026 NBA Draft details:
First Round: Tuesday, June 23
Second Round: Wednesday, June 24
The 2026 NBA Draft will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The 76ers hold the 22nd overall pick in the draft which the team acquired when it dealt guard Jared McCain to the Oklahoma City Thunder in February.
In the deal, the Sixers also acquired three future second-round picks for McCain — the No. 16 overall pick in the 2024 draft.
The Thunder owns the No. 17 overall pick which was acquired from Philadelphia in a salary dump that sent center Al Horford to OKC in 2020.
Unlike last year, the Sixers don't have a pick inside the lottery but will have a chance to select a quality player in what experts deem as a deep draft class.
Here's who might be available when the Sixers pick at No. 22:
