The undisputed super middleweight champion is at stake as Canelo Alvarez takes on William Scull in Saudi Arabia, the first time Alvarez has fought outside of North America.
The Guadalajara native Alvarez was the undisputed champion of the 168-pound division, but was stripped of the IBF title when he didn't fight Scull last year, instead beating Edgar Berlanga in September. Scull, meanwhile, beat Vladimir Shishkin to remain undefeated and claim the IBF belt.
If Alvarez wins as a heavy favorite, he will be set up for a megafight against Terence Crawford, which is expected to come in September.
Canelo Alvarez vs. William Scull will take place on May 3.
The DAZN broadcast begins at 5 p.m. MT/6 p.m. CT. Walkouts are expected around 9 p.m. MT/10 p.m. CT.
