LAWRENCE — The alumni teams for Kansas basketball and Kansas State that are competing in the 2026 edition of The Basketball Tournament will meet again Friday, in the third game of a three-game series.
Kansas State’s Purple Reign won the opening matchup Tuesday with ease, 80-61, in Manhattan. Then, Wednesday, Kansas’ JHX Hoops mounted a comeback to win 84-80 in Topeka to even the series. This deciding contest will unfold back in Manhattan.

This third game will take place at 6 p.m. (CT) and be televised on FS2. It’ll be played at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan. Purple Reign had the momentum throughout most of the first and second games, but couldn’t put JHX Hoops away in game two and allowed the series to continue.
