BEREA ― The Browns are closing in on closing down their training camp to the general public. Day 12 of camp marks the next-to-last chance for fans to come out and see the team outside of games.
For the Browns, Aug. 11 marks another step toward finally playing games themselves. They'll open the preseason Aug. 15 at the Chicago Bears.
Coach Todd Monken didn't announce who his starting quarterback would be for that game the previous day, as many expected. Could this be the day that happens?

The weather in Berea is expected to be cloudy, but the rain's also not forecasted until after practice. So the Browns hope to be back outdoors after having to practice inside Aug. 10.

The Browns have two remaining training camp practices open to the general public, incuding today. All practices are scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m., with the gates opening one hour in advance. Practices that are moved inside due to the weather will be closed to the public.

- Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1:30 p.m. practice (final practice open to fans)
- Thursday, Aug. 13, meetings, walkthrough and travel to Chicago
- Friday, Aug. 14, in Chicago
- Saturday, Aug. 15, preseason game No. 1 at Chicago Bears, 1 p.m. EST
