The last time we played against Daniel Jones, he beat Josh Dobbs 31-27 and everyone thought we had a keeper in Dobbs second career start with the Cardinals.

K1s biggest weakness is standing in a hectic pocket. He just doesn’t have that skill and never will due to his size.
For me some of it is risk aversion and determination. Brees wasn’t much bigger but learn how to shift and move up in a pocket. Murray just flees.

I would expect the Cards to be deadline sellers if they plan to change QB.

Budda, JT, Jonah Williams, any Edge, Kei'trel all options. Got to build capital.

Trading Jonah to the Chargers seems obvious.

I also think Cards might not draft high. Might trade or go FA. Today's game showed they could win games with a Mac Jones level QB and not sure the staff has time to develop a QB.

Don't shoot me. But when the Falcons cut Kirk Cousins he ran this offense in Minny with Stefanski. It's the offense he flourished in.

Cousins, Brissett and a day 2 development QB anyone?

MHJ is not in Nabers’ league.
Remains to be seen. We know most of his deficiencies have been because of an offense that focused on the TE/RBs and a QB that rarely has his WRs as the first read. A few games ago, WRs weren’t top-3 in targets.

Mostly because the offensive line blocked pretty well in the 2nd half. It's not complicated.
Except for Froholdt. I went back and reviewed on of the last sacks Brissett took. It looked like it might be Hernandez fault. However the guy came through the right A gap. He did get inside Hernandez but Froholdt wasn’t engaged. Instead of staying balanced so he could lean either way, he’s pressing against Brown’s back and ignoring the A gap. The left A is clean. He does that repeatedly. He’s not a good center.

They looked better with Brissett remembering other receivers were on the field.

This

9 receivers got the ball today

So they were running routes hard because they knew there was a chance to get the ball
These aren’t the same thing.

I do think that BCF could be correct on the guys running harder since MHJ was out. That would be very sad.

Nabers managed to produce with Tommy DeVito. Nabers is also just a more explosive and well-rounded WR than MHJ. I do not expect MHJ to just beat man-coverage from out of nowhere.

drives me nuts - acts like he doesn't see the defender and makes the guard look bad

They looked better in the second half without MHJ than with MHJ in the first half. How you guys aren’t concerned about this is mind blowing to me.

Seen backups come out and have a nice game a million times. Happens to us every time where we get cooked by a backup. Brissett looked great today. They usually get figured out pretty quick and remind you why they are a backup. Happened with McCoy when he had to play multiple games in a row. I don't care which direction we go at QB for the rest of the season because this season is over and K1 is done in AZ after this year. But I doubt Brissett plays this well again when opponents are game planning for him.
