Two things are right at the same time

1) Jacoby is the best option for the rest of the season (not long term)

2) Kyler is done
Ppl will be sick of Brissett after a few starts. Every fanbase he’s played for knows it. Ppl being sick of Kyler as well makes the rest of the season unwatchable like 2018. Zombie season is here.

Strongly disagree! Rallis called a passive, conservative defense today. Too many easy throws, very little pressure, few blitzing & ultimately they game once again lost because the defense couldn’t stop them
nah - we went 5 man a bunch - tried to stack the box at times - should've had 2 picks - we actually had the ball for 32 minutes compared to indy's 27

defense gets a solid c on the road against danny dimes and taylor imo

So does Kyler. Like I said, Jacoby ain’t it. Neither is Kyler

does brissett's immediate success indicate a pocket passer is what we should be drafting if we're "keeping petzing"?

Rallis did his best Petzing impersonation

It's going to be the usual getting overexcited about a backup. The great thing about having Brissett is that he isn't Clayton Tune and he actually gives you a chance for a game or two.

But he has played in the NFL for 10 years and was handed starting jobs multiple times and got benched every time. It's not going to be different here.

The defense couldn't make one damn play in the second half. Not a sack, no turnover. There is too much focus on the offense in this loss.

Exactly. The third down on that last TD drive. We blitzed on 2nd down, forced an incompletion. Then on 3rd down back to zone coverage with 4 man rush and Downs is matched up on Wilson Jr easy 1st down. BLITZ damn it!

Everybody in the NFL wants a pocket passer. You see if there is a really good one out there in college that we can get. There isn't, IMO. It's a bad year for "We have GOT to draft the QB of the future. ". That was the 2024 draft unfortunately.

Mostly because the offensive line blocked pretty well in the 2nd half. It's not complicated.
I don’t know if I buy that though.

It’s really starting to concern me and Zay Jones actually finding his balls.

Obvious.

1. If they want a new QB they need to lose
2. Or they need Kyler to be good enough to trade him

There's no benefit in benching him.

Devils advocate: you bench him so he doesn’t get injured further
