All this debate is silly. When it boils down to it, there's about 20 different things the cards could do in this draft that we'll all be perfectly happy with.

You may be a Leftwich or Suggs fan or whatever, but if we take a different player who is still excellent (Trufant, whatever) you know you're still gonna be happy.

So let's post here..........what could the Cardinals do in this draft that would actually piss you off?

I will not be happy at all if they draft:

1. Andre Johnson. He can't catch. That's a big "uh-oh" for a WR.
2. Jimmy Kennedy. He's gonna be a big lazy bust. I've really changed my mind on him.
3. A trade down if Suggs is still on the board. If Suggs is gone, trade away.

I agree. This group of fans has an amazing ability to convince themselves that crappy picks were good ones in the couple days after the draft, and I would just love to see people try to rationalize taking this big, overrated, bird-dogging sissy.

The thing that bugs me the most is this. Why draft a CB when we have no pass Rush? No pass rush means time to dismantle the Defense. If we can trade the 6* pick for 2 picks then fine get a CB but if not draft DT Robertson

No to Simms at round 2. IF Faine is still there when it's our turn then tab Faine.

I hate drafting receivers. Even if Charlie Rogers is still on the board and he might be the best player in the draft this year. Hate it.

I would be unhappy with any player that we could trade down to get. I like Kevin WIlliams but i would shed a tear if the cards took him at #6. (No to Trufant at #6 either)

Not using the #6 pick on one of the five elite defensive players in the draft - Newman, Robertson, Suggs, Kennedy & Trufant.

I didn't know about the bird-dogging. That is a concern.

I'm worried. Why did they bring him in for a visit?

If the following players are drafted anywhere in the first day by the Cards I will cry like a spanked baby.

Andre Johnson - see EdB's comments

William Joseph - got eaten alive in the National Championship. This guy's gotten by on hype.

Kelly Washington - this guy has BUST written all over him. A product with serious injury concerns and an attitude that will create serious problems.

Larry Johnson - we DO NOT need another RB. If Marcel and Emmitt both went down with injuries, I am confident in Damien Anderson.

Chris Simms - did anybody watch him against quality competition last year?

They bring lots of guys in for visits. Don't worry.

And I ditto mdamien's comments on William Joseph. That guy is so bad I've almost completely forgotten about him. Biggest bust of this draft if anyone is dumb enough to take him in the top 20. He is second only to Gerard Warren (the recipient of the "disgusting fat-ass" comment I can't seem to live down) in terms of players that I saw in college and was almost 100% certain would be busts in the NFL.

If they draft a CB I will be pissed for the reasons someone stated above - no DL - you could get Aeneas and Deoin in there and they wouldn't be able to shut down the other team's O.

And if they pass up on Leftwhich and end up picking Chris Sims, I will throw up the mushrooms I will most likely be on on Saturday - and then I will really pissed!

If we draft Chris Simms, the first person who tries to say it was a good pick gets a trout slapping.

unfortunately I will not be at the draft party - I will be in the wodnerful confines of the Polo Fields in Indio, CA seeing the greatest two day musical festival since the 70's - COACHELLA! Too bad - otherwise I would be shrooming at the draft party and meeting y'all.

I'm being narrow minded, but nobody excites at #6 other than Leftwich.I guess i would be most pissed if we take a DT at 6.The draft is too deep at DT to take one at 6 when we have many other needs. We already have alot of DT's on the roster that, added to Bryant being better,we can get by with what we have.I,for one, would hold judgement on Simms as the #2 pick.I think he can be a good pro.You can't only judge him on what he did against Oklahoma. But passing on Leftwich and taking Simms in round 2 isn't my ideal draft.Maybe the cards are looking to go Suggs,Simms. Our last 2 QB's of any substance have been #2 picks in Lomax and Plummer.

I would be totally ticked off if the Cards drafted any LBs this draft and if the Cards pick Ken Dorsey or Noodle Arm Kingsbury at QB.

You lucky duck! My best friend wanted me to go to Coachella with him, but a lack of funds is holding me back. I would totally have to meet you if I went......and I would *uck with you seriously if you were shroomin'. I haven't done that stuff since 99' and I had a real bad experience!

3rd year running for Coachella - Krang - it's the best musical festival I have ever been to - Horde Fest (old school), Lollapalooza (back in the early 90s), it's just the best miz of people and music you can have in the midle of nowhere! NO BAD TRIPS FOR ME - unless Chris Sims is drafted . . .
