Welcome back to the end zone, Christian Kirk.

After tossing an interception when trying to target the No. 2 option in the first quarter, C.J. Stroud connected with Kirk for a 10-yard touchdown in the second quarter, giving the Houston Texans a 10-7 lead over the New England Patriots in the divisional round of the AFC playoffs.

Here's a look at the touchdown reception, courtesty of the Texans' X account:

Kirk, who joined the Texans this offseason in a trade from the Jacksonville Jaguars, posted a franchise record eight catches for 144 yards as Houston secured a 30-6 win over the Steelers to advance to the divisional round. Three catches were for over 20-plus yards downfield, with a pair setting up scoring drives in the fourth quarter.

Entering the second quarter, Kirk leads the Texans with two catches. He has 20 receiving yards, second-most behind tight end Dalton Schultz, who left the game in the first quarter with a calf injury, is going to have to be the leading weapon for the rest of the afternoon.

The Texans will begin the second half on offense.
