TOPEKA (KSNT) – Love is in the air in Topeka with a dominant win for the Ichabods.
No. 3 Washburn (24-1, 14-1 MIAA) cruised by Northeastern State (12-12, 5-10 MIAA) 78-54 on Saturday.
Washburn shot an impressive 55.6% from the floor in the win and led for all but 43 seconds of the game.
The Ichabods had 48 of its points come from inside the paint. It was well balanced scoring for the team with five players hitting the double-digit mark in points.
Dillon Claussen had a team-high 14 points while Bryson Smith and Brady Christiansen had 11 each. Jack Bachelor and Tyson Ruud both had 10.
The Ichabods hit the road next to Edmond, Ok, to take on Central Oklahoma on Feb. 19. Tipoff is set for 7:30.
