I would LOVE to see a STATEMENT W today but will take any kind we can get.

I figure every team is gonna get slaughtered by omicron at some point. Best bank all the wins now to give a cushion if we need later.

Also, maybe we don’t get as destroyed with it since both Booker and Paul got Covid in the last six months and maybe that plus vax and hopefully boosters makes them a little more immune than otherwise.

There is talk that the NBA might start letting asymptomatic players play, even with a positive test. Hopefully it comes to pass before our team gets hit.

I know a few people who have tested positive recently... granted that we plebs are not informed of the strain we caught, but of the 4 people I know who have tested positive, 3 have had little more than a brief mild cough and runny nose. If it was 3 years ago they wouldn't thought anything of it. The 4th has classic covid symptoms and got sick nearly 2 weeks ago. He is feeling better now but given that he lost his sense of taste and smell, I doubt he got the new strain.
It's frustrating, but I think we should still be vigilant. I know someone who is young and healthy, had received two vaccination shots, and was constantly masking when indoors, but got it anyway and has significant symptoms. Again, we don't know which strain, but that probably doesn't really matter in terms of controlling the overall spread.

Crowder hits a 3 for Suns as they trail 6-3.

Warriors are hurting the Suns on cuts to the basket not to mention threes.

Those cuts to the basket continue to hurt Suns.

Curry has 11 for the Warriors and Ayton is high for the Suns with 6 points.

Commercial break. Crowder with some weak calls. But Green is allowed to wrap arms around Ayton.

Steph with a really stupid foul on booker. Bumped heads. Thankfully no busted nose for booker.

I think what we are seeing is a reflection of all the threes they made last game. Overplaying the 3 giving cutting lanes.

We’ve started this game as poorly as possible. Not matching their intensity. They are right in our players’ faces defensively. We are lagging following them on the other end.
