Yay another 1st round pick starting out injured.

1 step forward 2 steps back
All the Monti fanboys are going to have a hard time defending this. Probably somehow blame Keim too.

Not a defense of Keim either. He was an idiot too.

Never was a fan of this guy. He seemed like he was naturally gifted with all the talent to dominate but his work ethic always lagged.

This is a bummer but I don’t know why anyone would criticize this. No one harps on Monti for Darius Robinson’s essentially lost rookie season.

It’s bad luck for sure, but Robinson and Nolen could be a coincidence.

So, do I have this right. Are you calling Monti an idiot?

I suppose we could blame this on some sort of curse Monti has --

both his 1st round D linemen get hurt after not missing any college games

his d line FA signings last year: Jone and Nichols really hadnt missed games in their pro careers

and yet..........

Okay Shane. Keep drinking the koolaid every year while you shine Monti's head for him.

Maybe you and Kyler can link up and play CoD together.

It all falls on the loser Bidwill family. Connected to the Chicago Mob and owned the team for almost 100 years and hasn't experienced any success.

The Nepotism runs deep. I wish my grandpa bought an nfl team $50,000

A lot of talented Cards are unable to play at beginning of season because of injuries. I hate this. Two years in a row, we aren’t seeing the first round draft pick on the field in Game 1. This may work out well in the long run, but this doesn’t feel good. I’d sure like to see how strong the team would be if Nolen, Ojulari
Nichols were healthy.

if he's not 100 he shouldn't practice at all - the risk is too great - we got players upfront - play it safe AND make lemonade by somehow utilizing that 53 roster spot - a set back on the calf could tack on months up to a year - if the goal is to get him on the field asap he needs to stay off it for now
that one was easy

So much for those podcasts saying he looked good… on the sideline.
I think that was true. But looking good on the sideline is far from being able to go full speed against someone who is 330.
