Curious if we might kick the tires on Christian Wilkins?

There's no clear consensus on him the Raiders said he should have had another surgery, refused and now can't play. But then Pete Carroll was praising him for working his butt off and the release came out of nowhere. So IF he's really still hurt no interest but if it's some other issue he might be worth taking a look at.

The Raiders voided his bonus but I have no idea what his contract situation would be.

They voided 35mil in 2025 guarantees...
I considered Wilkins...but 34, nagging foot injury, and likely expecting 30+mil per year makes him a no for me.

he's only 29. I have no idea how much money he'd want but if he's healthy he's interesting but I think right now the hope is Nolen's not a serious injury and he'll be able to play most of the season

He’s not healthy. That’s why he got cut. His foot it still sore, the Raiders wanted him to get another surgery, and he refused.

The reports about a month before Wilkins was released were that he is going to miss the entire 2025 season. I don't think they would have released him if there were any chance of him contributing.

That's what I'm assuming but Pete Carroll seemed to be completely happy with the guy right before he got cut said he'd worked hard to get back.

weird story.

We are blessed with a hungry DRob, Nolan can absorb while healing, both healthy and angry on the same play trumps CC experience.
Ho-e it happens opening day, and for years.

We got nothing from MHJ? He was our 1st round pick. Robinson came from Houston's pick. Also, we don't know the severity of Nolans calf. This is chicken little stuff right here.
MHJ, you know he'll be good...I meant DL, but so far encouraging news about the team...maybe Nolen plays and kicks some serious A despite missing tc. He will have to be a Boldin..just learn quick. Hopefully the strength coach backs off and players can naturally just play football and eat a good diet. They need collard greens, mamas home cooking.

Where have you seen that report? Feel like that would have been news easy to find that would have generated convo here.
Cardinals Podcasts…

Not confirmed because this regime hold injury updates so tight.

But said that the were told that the timeline checks with was initially reported and that he’s on the sideline looking good (and not like DR last year. What I posted was their timeline based on the original report and what they heard

What the heck does that mean? As opposed to having crutches to stay upright?

By the way why does our coach have an issue with reporting what the medical staff and player are saying to him? Doctor/patient privilege?

Per what they said… walking around with a sleeve on the calf without being hindered in any way - as opposed to DR, who was on crutches.

And I do not know. But this regime do not share any informatilon. One of the local media got their press access removed after reporting on DRs injury last year.
