Each week we will feature some of the top performances across South Jersey baseball diamonds in our seven-county coverage area.

Who had the best week? Vote in the poll at the end of the story. Voting will close on Friday afternoon.

Glassboro's Gianna Askin was the top vote getter last week, garnering 42.7 percent of the 1.2 votes recorded. Gateway's Emma Worthington and Kingsway's Sydney Schiavone rounded out the top three vote getters.

Burlington County Scholastic League

Lily Rossi, Riverside. The sophomore filled up the stat sheet over the Rams’ first three games, batting a whopping .714 (5-for-7) with 10 runs scored, six RBIs and five walks. In the circle, she’s struck out 18 over 12 innings pitched.

Emily Shiner, Northern Burlington. After tossing four no-hit innings in a win against Cinnaminson on March 30, the junior held then-No. 1 Kingsway to two knocks and struck out a career-high 15 batters in a 3-0 victory over the Dragons. Shiner has fanned 41 batters in 23 1/3 innings.

Jayla Zingaro, Florence. The table setter at the top of the Flashes’ batting order, No. 1 has produced six hits, three walks and two HBPs in her first three games. Zingaro hit .667 (6-for-9) with five runs scored for unbeaten Florence.

Colonial Conference

Jordan Ambrosius, West Deptford. The junior drove in nine runs as the Eagles soared to a 3-0 start last week. Ambrosius batted .429 with a double and homer. She also pitched 13 innings, striking out 26 batters, including 13 in a 5-2 win over Haddon Heights on April 4.

Alaina Copsetta, Audubon. Making her first start since 2024, the senior spun a gem, sinking Cinnaminson in a 6-1 victory on April 1. Copsetta scattered five hits and struck out 12 without a walk. She missed all of last season with a back injury.

Annika Raeuber, Haddon Township. The freshman improved to 2-0 in the circle with a four-hit shutout during the Hawks’ 1-0 victory over Collingswood on March 31. She has struck out eight and walked two over 13 innings.

Olympic Conference
