A new high school football season in the Montgomery area is around the corner, and the 2026 season will feature some new faces on the sidelines for their respective teams.

During the offseason, some Montgomery-area teams hired new head coaches, and the Montgomery Advertiser wants to know which new hire the readers feel like will have the most wins during the 2026 season.

One of the notable departures was first-year head coach Jonathan Chandler, who left Montgomery Catholic to take the head coaching vacancy at Opelika.

Saint James athletic director Larry Ware also found himself a head coach to take over after Ware was the interim head coach for the 2025 season. Hayden Stockton will lead the charge for the Trojans during the 2026 season, trying to restore the Saint James to its former glory.

Another interesting hire was Lawerence O'Neal leaving Tallassee to take the job at Park Crossing.

Voting will open on Sunday, July 12, and will last until noon on Thursday, July 16.
