The high school softball season in Western North Carolina brought state champions and legendary performances.
Two WNC teams won NCHSAA state titles as both Enka and Robbinsville swept the 5A and 2A titles, respectively. Now, the Citizen Times is asking fans to vote on which athlete was the best in the 2026 regular season.
Vote for the softball player who had the best year in WNC. The poll closes June 25 at noon.
