With another high school sports season complete, The Record is shifting the Martin Dentistry Athlete of the Week series into offseason mode. We'll spend the summer revisiting the biggest performances, moments and accomplishments from across 2025-26.
Last week, readers weighed in on the best single-game performances from the flag football season. Now it's time for the boys to take center stage.
We've selected 15 of the most impressive single-game boys baseball hitting performances from the 2025-26 season. Now it's up to you to decide which one deserves the top spot.

Stagg's Brooks starts season hot with six-RBI performance on opening day
Opening day didn't need a warmup period for Jackson Brooks. The Stagg senior started his season on fire, going 4-for-4 with six RBIs and coming just a home run short of the cycle in a 10-2 win over Calaveras on Feb. 11.
Oakdale's Wallace flirts with cycle during perfect day at plate against Patterson
A single, double, and triple were already checked off. The only thing missing was the home run. Peyton Wallace still finished a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBIs in Oakdale's 10-1 victory over Patterson on March 4.
Extra-base hits fuel Orona's big day as Weston Ranch dominates Merrill West
Nicolas Orona didn't settle for singles against Merrill West. The Weston Ranch senior delivered three extra-base hits, finishing 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, and six RBIs in an 18-6 victory on March 4.
Richardson's home run, three RBIs help Manteca complete sweep of city rival Sierra
Devon Richardson had Sierra's number all series. The Manteca senior capped off the city rivalry sweep on March 6 by going 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs in a 12-3 victory after totaling four hits and five RBIs over the first two games.

Franklin had no shortage of offense against Chavez, and Ian Apalakis helped lead the way. The senior delivered a 2-for-3 performance with a home run and five RBIs in the Wildcats' 16-3 victory on March 27.
Porrello's home run, seven RBIs power Lodi past league foe Tracy
Offense came easy for Lodi on April 6, and Carlos Porrello was a big reason why. The junior went 3-for-3 with a home run and seven RBIs in an 18-3 victory over league foe Tracy.

Five hits in one game is already impressive. A single, double, triple, and home run in the same game is another level. Ripon Christian senior Jackson Howell accomplished the rare feat on April 16, going 5-for-5 while hitting for the cycle in a 13-1 victory over BHCPA.
East Union takes down city rival Manteca behind Fay's perfect day at plate
Beating a rival is one thing. Going perfect at the plate while doing it is another. East Union senior Jackson Fay went 4-for-4 with three RBIs in an 11-2 rout of city rival Manteca on April 20.
Tameling shines with 4-for-4, five-RBI effort in Ripon Christian's beatdown of Gustine
A 16-run victory requires plenty of offense, and Talen Tameling provided a lot of it. The Ripon Christian sophomore finished a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBIs and two doubles in a 16-0 win over Gustine on April 20.
Silva erupts for two home runs, seven RBIs as St. Mary's beats Merrill West
Some days, everything just clicks. For Ethan Silva, April 22 was one of them. The St. Mary's senior and Hawaii signee powered the Rams' offense, going 4-for-5 with two home runs and seven RBIs in a 21-0 rout of Merrill West.
Slikker's three-RBI, near-cycle effort leads Manteca past city rival East Union
After a lopsided loss to city rival East Union, Manteca returned the favor. Junior Nate Slikker helped lead the response on April 23, going 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs in a 14-1 victory while finishing a triple short of the cycle.
Stewart's three-RBI performance leads Edison to first-ever league title
One game with five RBIs. Two more with four. Isaac Stewart had bigger stat lines throughout the season, but none came at a bigger time. The Edison senior went 2-for-3 with three RBIs in a 10-2 victory over Franklin on April 24, helping deliver the program's first league championship after an 85-year wait.
Labarthe goes deep again to send St. Mary's back to CIF SJS semifinals
Big moments call for big performances, and Dawson Labarthe delivered again. After homering with three RBIs in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division I first round, the St. Mary's junior followed it up with another home run and four RBIs in a 10-0 quarterfinal victory over Central Valley on May 8.
Rabara's go-ahead double gives St. Mary's revenge, CIF SJS title No. 6
Revenge doesn’t follow a timeline. Sometimes it takes days. Sometimes months. Sometimes, almost an entire year. After falling to Franklin in the previous year’s title game, St. Mary’s waited 364 days for another chance. Maddox Rabara delivered it on May 22, ripping a two-out, two-strike, two-RBI double down the left-field line for the only runs in a 2-0 victory and the Rams’ sixth CIF Sac-Joaquin Section championship.
