With another high school sports season complete, The Record is shifting the Martin Dentistry Athlete of the Week series into offseason mode. We'll spend the summer revisiting the biggest performances, moments and accomplishments from across 2025-26.
Last week, readers weighed in on the best single-game hitting performances from the baseball season. Now it's time for the girls to take center stage.
We've selected 15 of the most impressive single-game softball hitting performances from the 2025-26 season. Now it's up to you to decide which one deserves the top spot.

Coffman's six RBIs, home run not enough as Mountain House falls on opening day
The final score didn't take away from what Mackenzie Coffman did on opening day. The Mountain House senior did everything she could to keep her team in it, going 3-for-4 with a home run and six RBIs in a 15-12 loss to Kimball on Feb. 12.
Wilson shows veteran approach as freshman, walks four times in Edison debut
First high school games usually come with nerves. Jamaiya Wilson looked like she had been there before. The Edison freshman reached base four times on walks in her debut against Grant on Feb. 19 and added an RBI double, the first of her 34 RBIs that season.
Edison's Tatupu drives in seven, homers in 18-run rout of Sonora
Lelia Tatupu spent the entire season bringing runners home. Against Sonora on Feb. 28, the Edison senior put together her biggest performance, going 4-for-5 with two triples, a home run and seven RBIs in a 24-6 victory.
Tracy's Cargill rises to occasion with six-RBI performance against California top-40 team
Big moments require big performances. Emalee Cargill delivered hers against one of California's best. The Tracy senior and Cal signee went 3-for-3 with a home run and six RBIs in a 13-3 victory over Central Catholic on March 5, which finished No. 39 in California according to MaxPreps.
Martinez proves she's more than a pitcher with five RBIs, home run for Ripon
Most knew what Angelina Martinez could do as a pitcher. On March 7, she reminded everyone what she could do at the plate. The Ripon senior went 2-for-3 with a home run and five RBIs in the first game of a back-to-back against Livingston.
Sansaver pulls off rare offensive feat, hits for cycle as Tracy beats Lodi
A single. A double. A triple. A home run. Taylor Sansaver checked every box on March 19. The Tracy junior and University of Arizona signee completed the rare cycle, finishing 4-for-4 with five RBIs in a 12-4 win over Lodi on March 19.
Shanks drives in five without needing extra-base hit for Bear Creek
Not every big offensive performance requires extra-base hits. Shayla Shanks proved that against Stagg on April 2. The Bear Creek freshman drove in five runs while going 3-for-6, with all three hits being singles, in a 22-0 victory.
BHCPA's 26-run performance comes behind Drulias' cycle against ALHA
Julieann Drulias spent the season driving in runs at a county-leading pace, and April 8 showed exactly why. The BHCPA senior and Jackson State signee went 6-for-6 with five RBIs, recording a single, double, triple and home run in a 26-5 victory over ALHA.
River Island's Orndoff puts up video game numbers with 13 RBIs, three home runs

Babasa turns years of losing into triumph as Escalon captures CIF SJS title No. 6
Sixteen wins and 47 losses didn't define Madison Babasa's Escalon career. What came next did. The University of Arizona signee delivered when Escalon needed it most, going 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and three RBIs as No. 7 Escalon upset No. 5 Casa Roble in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division V championship on May 23, securing the program's sixth Section title.
