Vote for the EZ Cash of Delaware, Inc. Bayside South Team's of the 2025-26 season

The local high school sports season on Maryland's Eastern Shore has officially come to a close, and many Bayside South squads saw themselves have successful seasons during the 2025-26 school year. And now, fans have the opportunity to vote for the EZ Cash of Delaware, Inc. Boys and Girls Bayside South Teams of the Year.

Whether it be teams that became conference or state champions, teams that made deep playoff runs, or teams that surprised everyone, there are plenty of top Bayside South teams to choose from.

The poll will open on Wednesday, June 10, and closes on Friday, June 12 at 3 p.m.

Here are the teams nominated for this poll:

Men's Teams of the Year​

• Stephen Decatur Boys Soccer: Won the Class 3A MPSSAA State Championship
• Wicomico Football: Made it to the Class 2A MPSSAA State Semifinals
• Washington Football: Snapped six-year losing streak, finished with winning record and won first playoff game since 2003
• Stephen Decatur Football: Won their third consecutive Bayside Conference Championship
• Wicomico Basketball: Made it to the Class 2A MPSSAA State Championship Game
• Stephen Decatur Boys Lacrosse: Won their first Class 2A MPSSAA State Championship
• Mardela Baseball: Won the 1A East II Regional Championship
• Stephen Decatur Baseball: Won the Bayside Conference and made it to the MPSSAA Class 3A State Championship Game

Women's Teams of the Year​

• Stephen Decatur Girls Soccer: Won the Bayside Conference Championship
• Stephen Decatur Field Hockey: Won the Bayside South
• Parkside Volleyball: Won the Bayside South
• Pocomoke Field Hockey: Made it to the Class 1A MPSSAA State Semifinals
• Wicomico Girls Basketball: Made it to the Class 2A MPSSAA State Semifinals
• Stephen Decatur Girls Basketball: Won the Bayside Conference Championship
• Mardela Softball: Won their second consecutive Class 1A State Championship
• Stephen Decatur Girls Lacrosse: Won the Bayside South
