The girls lacrosse season in Massachusetts is near halftime.Teams have an idea of where they stand for the postseason after several weeks of power rankings drops, and league title races are taking shape.
We're taking stock of the season's first half and introducing the candidates for the 2026 Daily News Fans Midseason Girls Lacrosse Player of the Year. They were selected from nominees for our Player of the Week polls.
The poll will remain open for a week until noon Thursday, May 21. Vote below:
To the diamond: Vote for the Daily News Fans Midseason Softball Player of the Year
Our player of the year stories are meant as a way to highlight local high school athletes in the area. Making the list is an achievement in itself. Congratulations to all our athletes.
