Who's on the top line? The 17 candidates for the 2026 Fans Daily News Girls Hockey Player of the Year showed they deserve a spot.
The list includes copious points producers, league and state all-stars and stalwart goalies.
There are nine programs represented led by five from Division 1 quarterfinalist Algonquin. Ashland, Hopkinton, Lincoln-Sudbury/Wellesley and the Wayland/Weston/Newton North co-op each presented multiple options.
The poll will remain open for a week until noon Thursday, May 21. Vote below:

Our player of the year stories are meant as a way to highlight local high school athletes in the area. Making the list is an achievement in itself. Congratulations to all our athletes.
