The third round of the U.S. Open tees off on Saturday, June 20 at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club. The course, on Long Island, New York, is known for unpredictable weather, which makes the tournament extra exciting.
This year's competition has been plagued with inclement weather. The first round was delayed on Thursday, June 18 due to heavy fog.
Wyndham Clark has a four-stroke lead after the second round was completed on Friday, June 19. Four recent U.S. Open champions were among those who missed the cut: Brooks Koepka (2017, 2018), John Rahm (2021), Bryson DeChambeau (2024) and J.J. Spaun (2025).
