Updated Week 12 Fantasy WR Rankings PPR: Who to start, best sleepers, and top bye-week streamers for wide receivers originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.

Week 12 sees a few top wide receivers re-emerging from bye weeks, chiefly the Colts' Michael Pittman Jr. and the Saints' Chris Olave. Many fantasy football teams will have an even bigger group of players on bye -- as well as the limbo status of arguably the best receiver in the league.

Ja'Marr Chase's "Spitgate" from Sunday has earned him a one-game suspension, which he still may appeal. We're not ranking him until any appeal or the process' delay confirms he'll play this week.

In the meantime, check which wideouts will be on vacation and act to replace them. Then, dissect our player list below to make your start-sit decisions.

Which fantasy WRs are on Week 12 bye?

  • Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston, and Keenan Allen, Chargers
  • Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins
  • Troy Franklin and Courtland Sutton, Broncos
  • Deebo Samuel and Terry McLaurin, Commanders

➕ BEST WR PICKUPS: Week 12 waiver wire

What fantasy WR injury news should I know for Week 12?

  • Drake London (knee) looks set to miss Week 12 and at least one more game. Darnell Mooney steps in as the best wideout from the Falcons, assuming his own rib injury doesn't hold him back.
  • Marvin Harrison Jr. (appendix) doesn't appear to be ready to play, either, giving more juice to Michael Wilson, who's coming off a career-best 15-catch, 185-yard day Sunday.
  • Brian Thomas Jr., Kayshon Boutte, Darius Slayton, and Chris Godwin are among those who missed Week 11 whose status remains worth monitoring heading into Week 12.

Who are the top fantasy wide receivers for Week 12?

Assuming Chase isn't suspended, he'll receive a mulligan for his down Week 11 and remain a top-3 wideout.

Tetairoa McMillan's career day plus a tantalizing matchup against the 49ers positions him in the top five, too.

DeVonta Smith (at Cowboys) and Rome Odunze (vs. Steelers) should enjoy favorable matchups that nudge them up into the top tiers.

Who are the top Week 12 fantasy sleepers at wide receiver?

With Chase suspended one game, Andrei Iosivas slides into the role of likely No. 2 wideout behind Tee Higgins. With Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez likely focusing on Tee Higgins, Iosivas should find softer coverage as a one-week streamer.

Jameson Williams remains a must-start with Sam LaPorta's injury and Dan Campbell's new playcalling that is showcasing JaMo's speed. The Giants won't be able to keep up.

Start all your Seahawks wideouts versus the Titans: Rashid Shaheed barely missed a touchdown in his second game with Seattle, and Cooper Kupp should carve up the Tennessee secondary.

Mooney's status as Atlanta's de facto WR1 would cement him a place in most fantasy lineups, as long as he's active.

Just as McMillan rose up the rankings due to the Panthers' matchup with San Francisco, Xavier Legette (WR/Flex) and Jalen Coker (Flex/Bench) deserve trust. Carolina should be required to throw plenty to keep pace with the resurgent Niners offense under Brock Purdy.

Which Week 12 fantasy wide receivers are bust candidates?

The Eagles should limit CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens to WR2 territory, though like garbage-time or game-pace sustainment from Dak Prescott means they shouldn't be benched.

DK Metcalf, on the other hand, would normally be trusted in a salivating matchup with the Bears -- but not with Mason Rudolph possibly replacing the injured Aaron Rodgers (left non-throwing hand).
