The Georgia Bulldogs will face the Tennessee Volunteers in the opening series of SEC play this weekend.

Georgia will enter the series ranked as the No. 8 overall team in the country. Star pitcher Kenny Ishikawa is expected to return to the mound on Sunday against the Vols, as the talented two-way player’s return from injury will undoubtedly be a massive boost to the Dawgs’ rotation moving forward. The Bulldogs (15-3) have gotten off to an excellent start in 2026, as Georgia will look to begin SEC play on a high note against Tennessee (13-4) this weekend.

Friday’s contest will be available on SECN+ and the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network, beginning at 6:00 p.m ET. Game two of the series will take place at 5:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, as the game will be broadcasted live on SEC Network. Georgia will enter conference play with an overall record of 15-3, as the Dawgs will look to stay red hot against Tennessee this weekend. Tennessee represents the biggest challenge Georgia has faced all season.

Georgia leads the country with 61 home runs and has scored the second-most runs in the nation with 205. The Bulldogs have one of the nation's best offenses, but Tennessee has a solid pitching staff that will look to keep the Dawgs in check. Tennessee's offense has not been as explosive as Georgia's this season.
