Tough Decisions...

Well, my wife is pregnant again (yea!!!!) but it puts me in a hard place making a very tough decision. My wife's due date is February 5th. Our last 2 children were both exactly 1 day late on thier due dates, if my wife continues this trend she will give birth on Super Bowl Sunday. Now if the Cards are not playing in the Super Bowl I could probably give up the day without to many complaints. However if the Cards are playing in the Super Bowl this year, what am I suppose to do? I've allready tried talking her into letting me have the game on in the room and that is definitly a no go. So do I bail on her for the game, or do I bail on what I have waited for for almost 16 years now and be there for the birth of my 3rd child????

Tape the game, talk to no one (don't want anyone spoiling the game ), and be with your wife while she delivers.

Sure you will be pissed you are missing the game but you will regret every day for not being there for her and your child.

Oh.... every pregnancy is different (so you got that goin for ya) and you are highly optimistic!!

Portland is right...tape the game and watch it later. The right choice is to be with her for delivery.

If you bail on the delivery...well you will NEVER be able to make that up to her. There aren't enough jewels on this planet to get you out of the hot water you would be in.

I'll record it on Tivo or just buy the DVD when they released those championship DVD. Nothing in the world can replace seeing your child being born sorry not even my beloved Cards winning the SB. Congrats Jason

Scope out the hospitals in your area. Both the rooms where my boys were born had TVs in them where you'd be able to watch the game.

Other wise I'd have to go with the inducment idae.

I had a Dream!!

I had a dream a few years back that the Cards went to the SB, The same year ASU played in the NC game. So if you watch the ASU season then you will know if you have to worry about it or not.(Ok my theory has many flaws).

Anyway, congrats. I have 3 but we kind of cheated and had 2 at one time.
