Here are more details. I wanted to keep #32.

It's not for cash - it's for cap space - and a free agent.

I am not happy it cost the #32 pick though.

Great, so now they can pay Cory Joseph or Ricky Rubio $15-17 million a season. I would rather have Warren, to say nothing of needing the #32 to fill out a roster that is so bereft of NBA talent as it is...

You tell me who the FA is gonna be? We gonna see a repeat of the Ariza signing?

Well it should be Randle.

But it probably won't be.

If they could get rid of Jackson - then they would have room for Russell.

But apparently they don't want him, which is BS.

The Pacers did good and the Suns cleared cap space. It's the market we are in where teams have to give up assets to move players.

I'm okay with this depending on who we sign. We gave up TJ and a Okobo/Ulis for a free agent.

I am OK with this. We had to get cap space. We weren't going to use Warren. We can always buy a second round pick as we have seen today. Money is king! We didn't have it, and we needed it. We need PG and PF at a minimum.

So the Suns have some money to play with in free agency.

The long shot is Tobias Harris.

Maybe, just maybe with monte we could convince him, but I doubt it.

Well, as I said a day or two ago, it all depends on who they sign with the money they just created.

So the Pacers may pursue Rubio. They had the money to do it anyway.

You can Pollyanna it all you want. In the end, it will probably just be a repeat of last year's "big" off-season of signing Ariza and trading for Kyle Bleeping Anderson.

Geez, what a stupid move.

Even extending TJ Warren was a stupid mistake. Now the Suns succeeded to duplicate it.

I honestly consider quitting from following the team if they will spend cap space on Russell.

John Gambadoro‏Verified account @Gambo987

I said on @Bickley_Marotta today that the Suns would likely have to give up an asset to get off of the TJ Warren and/or Josh Jackson contracts to free up cap space. Suns had about 9 million going in - this Warren to Indiana trade clears 35 mill over next three years

The suns are a far more attractive destination than last year.

With that said - with what gambo has been reporting, I do not have faith they will use this cap space wisely.
