The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with free agent defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers, according to. The contract is reportedly worth $63 million over the next 3 years, with $42 guaranteed. Franklin-Myers will be a huge upgrade to the pass rush in Robert Saleh’s system. He has had 14.5 sacks in the last two seasons. He and Jeffery Simmons will be a match-up nightmare for opposing offensive coordinators.
One of the biggest needs the Titans have this offseason is upgrading the pass rush. Franklin-Myers is a good start. They will still need to add some guys in free agency and the draft to raise the overall floor of the group.
Once the dust settles on the first couple of waves of free agency, we will reset the Titans’ needs as they head into the 2026 NFL Draft, but it is hard to see a scenario where EDGE isn’t still a big need when the draft rolls around at the end of April.
