So long, John Franklin-Myers.
The former Denver Broncos defensive lineman has agreed to sign a three-year, $63 million contract with the Tennessee Titans, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz. JFM's deal averages $21 million per season and includes $42 million guaranteed.
Franklin-Myers (6-4, 288 pounds) originally entered the league as a fourth-round pick out of Stephen F. Austin with the Los Angeles Rams in 2018. He lasted just one season in L.A. before being cut and picked up by the New York Jets.
Following five seasons in New York, JFM was traded to the Broncos for a mere sixth-round pick in 2024. That trade ended up being a steal for Denver as the defensive lineman went on to record 65 tackles, 33 quarterback hits and 14.5 sacks in two seasons (31 starts).
That production made Franklin-Myers one of the most coveted interior defensive linemen in free agency this year, and his new contract reflects that. He'll get a fresh start in Tennessee and the Broncos will move forward with Zach Allen, D.J. Jones, Malcolm Roach, Sai'vion Jones and Eyioma Uwazurike on the defensive line.
