I keep seeing a bunch of retreads suggested for the Cards’ HC position. If I were making the call I’d roll the dice with Zac Taylor. He’s been successful developing Goff. Prior to that he was the only coach who made Tannehill look like an NFL QB. It’s true he’s never been a HC and has limited OC experience. There will be teams trying to sign him as an OC. He’ll surely have better offers at that slot than the Cards could create. If they want him I think a HC offer might secure his services.

I know it’s a big risk. They’d need a top DC like Bowles. They’d also need an experienced Assistant HC who could help with operational structure. At the worst Taylor would be a great mentor for Rosen and answer if he’s the QBOTF. The downside is the Cards’ recovery may be slowed if he’s the wrong guy. However, if I’m right the Cards could win big with a coach who could modernize this offense. Worst case if he fails with Rosen, next year’s QB pool with be outstanding. It’s time for the Cards to show some gumption and make a potential destiny changing move.

I love the idea, but if that's the route I would rather Matt LeFleur. Same concept as you stated but I think he has the better results. I would be down with either option.

If you’re going to reach, you reach for an offensive guy especially in today’s NFL.

Last yea they reached for a defensive head coachl, even though our defense was already good, and look what happened.

@Harry, Any word on what this says about M.BidWill or Keim? I am starting to have my doubts about this organization from top to bottom

They pretty much reached last season.

Exactly. Wilks was not a retread...The experiment failed but I applaud them for taking a risk. Now it’s time to own bad decisions and move forward.

This is garbage. Keim and Bidwill hired Arians as a HC when no one else would no matter what Twitter idiots say.

Exactly...imagine how BA must be, behind closed doors, to have 2 teams retire him... lol

I'm sure, just like Harbaugh (Jim) and Todd Haley, BA wears out his welcome at some point...for reasons unknown.
