So a lot has happened in the last month, at least in terms of Gopher football recruiting.

And by “a lot,” I mean 15 commitments.

So I’ve got some catching up to do. Please bear with me!

I am happy and blessed to announce my commitment to The University of Minnesota. I want to thank my mom, dad, and siblings for always being there. I am grateful for the coaches at Seton Hall Prep and Coach Fitz for believing in me. @CoachNJ_Monroe@Coach_Fleck@Coach_DCollinspic.twitter.com/i9Fis40EMj

Scouting Report

Daniels tallied 53 total tackles last season, including 14 solo stops. As a safety, he is physical perimeter defender, with a quick downhill trigger, a willingness to take on contact, and consistency as a tackler in space. Daniels stands out for his ability to diagnose plays quickly, as he reads and reacts quickly, closes fast on screens and perimeter runs, and shows the balance and body control to break down in the open field rather than just throwing his body at ball carriers. At the next level, Daniels needs to be more polished in his pass coverage — stacking high‑volume man and zone reps against high‑end receivers to refine his transitions, ball skills, and route anticipation — to match his physical tackling profile.
