First half summary:

The coaching blows... Stupid playcalling, no clock management. The last possession, clock was ticking and no timeouts called with 3 in hand while everyone walking around. The playcalling sucks.

The defense again shows up for first 2-3 drives and then quits. That was some horrendous tackling on their TD drive.

OL just BLOWS. Revolving doors.

Three opportunities inside or near their red zone and we have 6 points to show for it.

Kolb is not that good... much better than the garbage last season but not good enough, yet. No pocket pressence, no field vision. Yes the OL sucks but when it does hold the pocket, he runs out anyway. On one occassion, he moves up in the pocket but then stopping and throwing, keeps moving and hts two defenders and dropped for a loss. That was a great pocket and block by the OL (rare ones). On the last drive, Fitz was wide open running near the sideline with no one for at least 10 yards near him that could have gotten us huge yards and he throws to a covered Doucet for short gain that was incomplete.

Can we bench Al Jefferson already? Richard Marshall cannot be any worse???? Peterson will be a stud with some experience. Much better than DRC. He almost picked off Manning in the end zone. Nice jamming, tackling, and keeping track of the ball.

Sorry I just cannot blame Kolb for his pocket presence.. Dude has legitimately ran for his life and lie rally been hammered back there on several occasions. He's running scared for good gosh darn reason.

Cardinals are playing great today. Compared to the first three weeks this team is playing light years better today. Where was this effort for the last three weeks?

Nothing wrong with prior effort IMO. Just lack of execution like first half settling for fgs... Lost two really close games on road that we could have just as easily won. If yout giving effort on road you get blown out.

this is the best game in years, be patient. Beanie beat them up for the first time since3 EDGE.

Watch how we can finish when we wear down their defense, like our team usually is!

Kolb has no Int's 1 fumble. Too long on his head timer, but this is the 4th game in this offense, and the Giants are a good team.

Actually, Jefferson has played well, but has suffered several great efforts against him. Other than that, I agree--we currently blow chunks.

How about instead the Cards quit blowing leads and winning so it will be fun to watch?

Surely you don't enjoy these losses.

No, I don't enjoy them but I've taken a page from your book Jake and just marveled at the entertainment value of watching the invention of new ways to lose. Bummed out today, but definetly entertained.

My wife even commented on this to me today... she said I laughed a couple times instead of screaming at these bloody fools

LOL that is exactly what I was doing when the refs made that ridiculous call. I just started laughing and said well same old Cards.

Then the baseball Cards rallied for a 5-4 win so everything was rosy around here tonight.

He has happy feet. It doesn't matter if there is pressure or not, pocket or not, he is running too far back to rolling to the sides. There were few instances where there was no pressure at all and blockng was good, yet he moved out of the pocket. He is part of the problem.

He is just bad. Terrible tackling and gives too much cushion allowing completion after completion.

Only in Cardinals land Al Jefferson will be a starting CB along with Porter and Haggans as starting OLB and Brown and Keith as OT. Hand picked players by this coaching staff.

I know a lot of times today the announcers said Jefferson covered well but it was just a good pass. I don't know how much I buy that opinion but I think that cushion has nothing to do with Jefferson or Peterson's decision to do so...I think it's Horton's doing or he would have corrected their placement right away but they keep giving that cushion

In many previous years when the Cards were 1-4, basically looking at an uphill battle to make the playoffs ALREADY, I looked at the team and just knew the players sucked. I don't feel like that. This has to be one of the most talented under performing Cards teams I have seen in some time. This team has talent.

Yes, we still need some players at key positions but it's not like I am thinking like I have in the past that this team was a wasteland. That is why I am so frustrated. If this team had no talent this would be much easier to swallow.

It also implies lack of talent... he may have been covering well but the receiver beats him anyway. There was a reason he was undrafted.

So, after three DC's, we are still playing with big cushions...

It is hard to even tell any difference in the Defense this year.

Gotta give credit where it is due... they did stop Giants run game, 59 or so yards only among lowest 5 running games for Giants in Coughlin era... but still no consistency from game to game.
