Uruguay played a pretty lazy game, so I'm not sure how much I want to take away as far as quality of skill because they had a lot of room to operate and we've seen some of the same players turn in diminished performance against tighter competition
However, you are dead on with the urgency - rust was great to see. Also some of that fight and killer instinct - these are things that have been visually lacking
A bunch of guys wanted to impress and show out and put in a performance that was a blast to watch and executed some really good skill and style of play
I agree that the front line guys do need to be pressed and do need to earn being thought of as the most talented generation - that talent doesn't matter if it doesn't translate
After a rough stretch, starting to build some positive momentum
I also really like getting Portugal on the calendar in March - not sure what type of squad they'll bring, but it makes sense for them to get a feel for the travel, accommodations and a potential venue they may play in
