The Official "The Sky is NOT Falling" game day thread; CLE edition

I can't stand the game day thread. It's awful and just endless complaining about everything.

I'm sure you're not the only one. I enjoy it for whatever reason, have for many years. I really don't even notice the negativity, it's in the heat of the moment, it happens. If people think drinking at games is an issue, imagine how many people are drinking at home and posting in the game day thread.

The difference is, at live games, nobody rewinds recorded conversations during the heat of the moment. In the game day thread it's there forever and people go back, even during the game, to something posted 10 minutes prior so they can post a gotcha post.

Should add: while at a game I can curse Palmer for a dumb throw and it's over in 30 seconds and doesn't mean anything. In the game day thread it takes on a new meaning. People may read it after he's just thrown for 400 yards rather than when it was written.

Really if everyone would just stop expecting others to conform to their ideals then we would all be happier.

I don't do the game threads much either, I'll pop in and drop a post or 2 when something noteworthy happens, just too over the top most of the time for my taste
